Planting, cultivating, and harvesting vegetables, fruits, and forage. Dusting, application of fertilizers and insecticides. Feeding, breeding, and care of livestock and poultry. Maintaining the pasture grounds, aquaculture facilities, fruit and vegetable crops (hydroponic and agricultural farming). Supervise the work of a group of inmates, patients, wards, or paid farm employees on a continuous basis and perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications
Legal Authorization to Work:
Citizens, nationals, or permanent residents of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment. Experience:
Three (3) years of general farm work or equivalent combination of experience and training. Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) Requirement:
Has engaged in sexual abuse in a prison, jail, lockup, or other institution. Has been convicted of sexual activity in the community with force or coercion, or where the victim did not consent. Has been civilly or administratively adjudicated to have engaged as described above. Has been subject of substantiated allegations of sexual abuse or sexual harassment, or resigned during a pending investigation.
