Support Services Operator Hourly Wage

ISS offers full‑time employees a variety of benefits including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, as well as a comprehensive leave program based on employment status. The hourly pay range for this position is $31.00 per hour – $33.00 per hour.

Key Purpose Team members in this job perform and oversee a variety of duties, including office services, audio visual and workplace technology support, assistance conference room management, light facilities maintenance, setups and event management support, and administrative duties using DWG, CAD, and space planning. Supporting our client and working as a team are essential parts of the workday. This person will be cross‑trained in all services. Other duties are included as business needs.

Ideal Candidate Experience

High School diploma or equivalent

1+ years of experience in a relevant field: Dock or shipping/receiving, Facilities Management, Mail Center, Call Center/Administrative environment

Knowledge of Microsoft Office functions (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Knowledge of basic mathematics and general office practices

Ability to determine work priorities

Work well with others in a team setting

Ability to work independently occasionally

Key Accountabilities

Conference/meeting room management

and site event support

(including but not limited to scheduling, set‑up, cleaning, breakdown, resetting, etc.)

Assist with inspecting all received packages according to safety standards

Assist with shipping packages (including international shipments)

Assist with receiving daily deliveries from UPS, FedEx Express, FedEx Ground, and any other courier drop‑offs

Receive, check‑in, and document incoming pallet shipments (assist with this function)

Check inbound packages into Web‑Based Tracking System

Event support setups, client communication platform, and interactions with Food and IFM teams to ensure requests are completed in a timely manner

Sort and separate packages by assigned building

Deliver packages, mail, supplies, etc. to the proper recipient

Always keep loading dock and receiving area clean and organized

Assist with site inventory and audits

Facilities maintenance support (including but not limited to changing light bulbs, changing air filters, minor patching and painting,

printer operation support, liaising with landlord to support work order requests, and assisting Technical Services Team as needed with preventative maintenance tasks

which would include escorting subcontractors while they are on site)

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Work up to 8 hours a day on your feet, excluding breaks

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Come to work properly dressed according to the dress code

Employee must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods

Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions

The noise level in the work environment is frequently loud
