Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking Logistics Specialists for our Work Based Learning Program (WBLP).

Trainees will participate in a 12‑month work and training program at our San Francisco facilities (January 2026 to March 2026).

The position is entry‑level and requires site reporting. Physical Requirements

Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for weights greater than 41 pounds. Work in a 24/7 environment with primary responder rotation and after‑hours support. Work in cramped, elevated or noisy environments. Bend, lift, stretch, reach, stand and walk for 8+ hours a day. Use ladders, stairs and gangways safely and without limitation. Tolerate non‑climate‑controlled environments with temperature variations. Key Job Responsibilities

Communicate with vendors and teams; perform data entry, coordinate with suppliers, and resolve inquiries from cross‑functional teams. Verify that all inventory – billing is accurate and ready for processing. Assemble, address, stamp and arrange shipment of merchandise and materials. Schedule daily deliveries and pick‑ups to and from production locations. Maintain precise records of all commodities entering and leaving the company. Travel with personal vehicle within the regional work area. Complete the 12‑month WBLP training curriculum, including required safety certifications and technical competencies. A Day in the Life

The Logistics Specialist reviews Data Center inventory, in‑bound shipments, and ongoing demand to maintain proper stock levels for build and repair activities.

Working with the Logistics Manager, you will create plans to optimize parts flow, track inventory location, movement, age and returns.

You will work closely with Data Center Operations Technicians and Engineers, and with Procurement and Hardware Engineering to purchase new parts, process RMAs and receive replacements.

Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with vendors and ensuring business requirements are met. Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum age 18 years. Willingness to participate in shift rotations supporting 24/7 data center operations. Basic STEM or vocational course education. Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications. Knowledge of computer hardware components, operating systems and inventory management. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for regional travel. Additional Information
