Work Based Learning Program Logistics Specialist Amazon Web Services (AWS) Infrastructure Services is looking for a Logistics Specialist to join our Work Based Learning Program (WBLP). This entry‑level role requires the successful candidate to report to a site location and participate in a 12‑month work and training program at our San Francisco facilities. The program runs from January 2026 to March 2026.

Location: San Francisco, CA (additional location available in Boardman, OR)

Compensation: $39,200 – $83,800 per year depending on geographic market.

Physical Requirements

Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds.

Work in an environment that operates 24/7 with the ability to participate in primary responder rotation and provide after‑hours support as needed.

Work in cramped and/or elevated and/or noisy environments.

Bending, lifting, stretching, reaching, standing and walking for up to 8+ hours a day.

Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitation.

Tolerance for working in non‑climate–controlled environment with temperature fluctuations.

Key Job Responsibilities

Vendor and team communication including data entry, coordinating with suppliers, and resolving inquiries from cross‑functional teams.

Ensure that all billing associated with the Inventory supply chain is accurate, validated and ready for processing.

Assemble, address, stamp and arrange for the shipment of merchandise and materials.

Assist in daily scheduling of deliveries and pick‑ups to and from production locations.

Keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of the company.

Travel with personal vehicle within the regional work area.

Successfully complete the 12‑month WBLP training curriculum, including all required safety certifications, technical competencies, and performance milestones.

Basic Qualifications

High school or equivalent diploma.

18 years of age or older.

Willingness to participate in shift rotations to support 24/7 data center operations.

Preferred Qualifications

STEM classes or vocational course curriculum education.

Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.

Knowledge of computer hardware components, operating systems and inventory management.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Notes NOTE: Amazon is not able to provide sponsorship now or in the future for these positions. Eligible candidates must have work authorization without employer intervention to be considered.

NOTE: A lump sum stipend will be provided for eligible candidates who need to relocate.

NOTE: The role may require shift work, including nights and weekends; traveling within the regional work area is required.
