Supply Chain - Senior Procurement - Buyer - L3 - Fort Worth TX
Join Lockheed Martin Aeronautics as a Senior Procurement Buyer supporting Skunk Works programs. Position is On‑Site in Fort Worth TX. Application window approximately 90 days.
Responsibilities
Manage supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on complex build‑to‑print DOD subcontracts.
Hold procurement delegation and sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within authority.
Develop subcontract specifications, work statements and terms and conditions for specialized materials and equipment.
Prepare bid packages, conduct bidder conferences, develop evaluation criteria, negotiate subcontract provisions including price and select or recommend subcontractors.
Write subcontract packages, prepare awards and administer resulting subcontracts and required change activity.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience; 6+ years professional experience or 4 years with related Master’s.
Experience establishing supplier relationships and managing continuous improvement of supplier performance.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Commitment to be on‑site at least 2 days a week.
U.S. Secret Security Clearance required; U.S. citizenship required.
Desired Skills
Reading engineering drawings.
Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures (FAR/DFAR/LMAP/AeroCode).
Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
