Retail Service Specialist – O'Reilly Auto Parts The Retail Service Specialist will support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This position will also handle shift management in the absence of Assistants or the Store Manager. Bilingual candidates are encouraged.

Essential Job Functions

Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.

Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom.

Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.

Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner and contact customers upon shipment arrivals.

Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently using the electronic outside purchase order ledger.

Process retail customer returns and exchanges accurately, issuing refunds using correct payment methods and staging returned merchandise.

Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves store.

Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks.

Ensure team members adhere to posted schedules, approvals, and clock‑in/out policies.

Perform all store opening/closing duties, day end procedures, money/deposit verification, bank deposits, security alarm management, and secure delivery vehicle(s).

All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong communication skills.

Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Desired Qualifications

Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.

Automotive systems and repair knowledge.

ASE Certification.

Fluency in multiple languages; Spanish highly desired.
