Who We Are
Lohr & Company is a family-owned financial planning boutique based in Central Virginia, dedicated to helping families steward their resources wisely and live with greater impact and purpose.
While money is the starting point of our conversations, our true focus is on the people whose wealth we’re discussing. We believe every person is made in God’s image, and we strive to care for clients in a way that reflects that belief. Our role as advisors is to bring clarity to complex decisions—helping clients understand their options, align their resources with their values, and move forward with confidence and peace of mind.
While our clients span many stages of life, our focus is on those in or nearing retirement, guiding them through the transition from accumulation to confident income and lasting legacy.

Professional development support, including licensing, CFP® coursework, mentorship, and continuing education
Growing autonomy and flexibility, with greater control over scheduling and work structure as trust and experience are earned
Long‑term earning potential that grows alongside responsibility, contribution, and the depth of client relationships—often spanning a broad, competitive range for experienced advisors in an independent planning firm
A stable, values‑driven environment focused on long‑term relationships rather than sales quotas or short‑term production pressure
We believe the most fulfilling advisory careers are built patiently—through competence, character, and care for clients. For the right person, this role offers a clear path to meaningful work, professional growth, and a sustainable, rewarding career in financial planning.
