We are looking for an experienced and dependable Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide independent anesthesia coverage at our esteemed Endoscopy Center in Lansing, MI, starting January 1, 2026, through Summer 2026. This role offers the perfect blend of professional challenge and work-life balance, supporting a busy specialized setting without call duties.
In this role, you will work independently within a dedicated endoscopy environment, administering MAC anesthesia and managing 10-16 adult and geriatric cases daily. Your expertise will be essential in delivering high-quality care for procedures such as EGD with biopsies, colonoscopy with biopsies, or a combination of both. The facility utilizes the EPIC documentation system, and this position is ideal for CRNAs comfortable practicing autonomously in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
Key skills include strong clinical judgment, independence, excellent patient management, and proficiency with endoscopy procedures. Preferred candidates will have prior experience with MAC anesthesia, comfort managing a variable caseload, and familiarity with EPIC or similar EMR systems. Experience working with adult and geriatric populations is advantageous.
The ideal candidate will possess a current and valid CRNA certification, state licensure, and be able to pass credentialing within 60-120 days. No trauma designation or pain management cases are involved. Travel and licensure-related reimbursements are provided as applicable. This position requires no travel beyond local mileage, which is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate.
