Responsibilities

General Training & Comprehension – Learn and perform job assignments of housekeeper, heavy housekeeper/floor tech, and laundry worker positions, and teach others.

Leadership Development – Assist in training, quality control, and in‑servicing staff according to policies, procedures and federal/state requirements.

Policies & Procedures – Provide leadership, support, and guidance to ensure quality standards, inventory levels, safety guidelines and customer service expectations are met.

Reporting – Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment for reporting.

Training – Responsible for all training, quality control and in‑servicing staff; conduct tours of various facility areas and use QCIs for documentation.

Leadership – Handle payroll submission, staffing patterns, coaching and discipline, purchasing, inventory, and budgeting.

Communication – Effectively communicate directives from client managers, building occupants, and administrators to HCSG staff.

Safety – Use protective gear; properly mix and use cleaning solutions; report equipment or product needs promptly; follow infection control policies.

Punctuality – Consistent attendance and timely completion of cleaning assignments.

Customer & Resident Experience – Provide courteous, cooperative interactions with supervisors, co‑workers, clients, residents, staff, and guests.

Qualifications

Positive attitude with the ability to follow oral and written instructions.

After training, utilize leadership skills without supervision.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Basic computer skills; maintain records and complete web‑based reports.

Must be able to work on schedule and on time.

Compliance with COVID‑19 vaccination policies required.

Physical ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.

Able to work around food and cleaning products.

Must live in the service area.
