Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for experienced Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to support K-12 students in a dynamic school setting in Lewisville, TX. This contract position spans the current school year, with responsibilities beginning immediately and continuing through May 22, 2026.
This role involves working onsite, providing crucial behavioral support to students across two to three campuses on a rotating schedule. Candidates must demonstrate flexibility and willingness to travel between locations within the district. You will collaborate closely with Behavior Interventionists at each campus, offering modeling and support to teachers in self-contained or life skills classrooms. Typical caseloads include students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, intellectual disabilities, or emotional disturbances, often involving high levels of restraint and aggression. Clinical supervision is provided by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Key responsibilities include:
Implementing behavior intervention plans in accordance with district protocols
Supporting and modeling strategies for teachers and staff
Managing challenging behaviors in specialized classroom settings
Documenting progress and maintaining clear communication with the intervention team
Desired qualifications and experience:
Current, valid National Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
Proven ability to work effectively with students exhibiting complex behavioral needs
Flexibility to adapt to multiple campus environments and schedules
Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary educational team
Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, totaling 40 hours weekly.
