Laundry Machinery Repair Technician

Job Description Traveling Laundry Machinery Repair Technician fixes and maintains commercial washers, dryers, ironers, and related systems, focusing on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical/electrical faults, and emergency repairs to prevent downtime. Often using diagnostic tools and working independently or in teams, ensuring high efficiency and safety in commercial laundry operations. Travels within Texas only.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose & Repair: Identify and fix issues with industrial washers and dryers.

Preventative Maintenance: Perform scheduled upkeep to keep machines running smoothly.

Installation: Assist with setting up new equipment.

Troubleshooting: Address mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems.

Documentation: Maintain detailed maintenance logs and report equipment status to supervisors.

Safety: Follow all safety protocols and ensure a safe work environment.

Collaboration: Work with production staff, engineers, and vendors.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills: Strong mechanical, electrical, and basic plumbing knowledge.

Problem‑Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.

Experience: Previous experience with commercial laundry equipment or similar industrial machinery is beneficial.

Work Ethic: Ability to work independently, in teams, and sometimes long hours for emergencies.

Physical Ability: Capable of standing, bending, lifting, and moving frequently.

Paid Per‑Diem for hotel, food and gas. Pay Rate - $20.00 - $23.00.
