Warehouse Forklift Operator

Pay:
$20.00 per hour, paid weekly.
About the Role Ryder is hiring a forklift operator to support our supply chain operations. The role involves loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, cycle counting, and forklift operation in a fast‑moving warehouse environment.

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
At least one year of warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
Valid forklift operator’s license, certified
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience creating and maintaining professional relationships across all levels
Highly thorough, dependable, punctual with good attendance
High degree of initiative and accuracy under pressure
Ability to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs
Ability to stand for long periods
Comfortable with health and safety methods
Availability for flexible schedule and multiple shifts
Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices
Responsibilities
Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract
Ensure accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and truck loading/unloading
Maintain day‑to‑day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading
Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours
Perform additional duties as assigned

Some positions require additional screening including employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check, a road test, or background requirements of the customer.
