About Our Agency: I opened my agency in January of 2017 after spending 12 years in the financial industry, bringing a strong foundation in business and financial guidance into agency ownership. I graduated from Cadiz High School and earned my degree in Business Administration from West Liberty University. Community involvement is a core value for our office — we proudly sponsor the Steubenville Nutcracker Village, local baseball teams, and 4‑H auctions, and I'm an active member of the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce. Supporting local organizations and showing up for our community is an important part of how we do business.

For our team, we offer a Simple IRA, licensing reimbursement, and a strong emphasis on work‑life balance. Our office culture is rooted in service, stability, and connection, and we’re looking for people who value community involvement and want to grow in an agency that truly cares about the people it serves.

Role Description: As a Customer Service Representative with Casie Johnson Insurance and Financial Services, Inc., you will generate the kind of exceptional customer experiences that reinforce the growth of a successful insurance agency. Your attention to detail, customer service skills, and desire to help people make you a fit. You will enhance your career while resolving customer inquiries, coordinating with other agency team members, and anticipating the needs of the community members you support. We look forward to connecting with you if you are the customer-focused and empathetic team member we are searching for. We anticipate internal growth opportunities for especially driven and sales-minded candidates.

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist clients as they enter the office, providing a friendly and professional first impression.

Reach out to customers regarding late payments and help facilitate timely resolutions.

Assist customers in filing insurance claims, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately.

Support clients with policy changes, such as replacing vehicles on their policies.

Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing knowledgeable and efficient service.

Maintain and update client records in our database.

Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience.

Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes to provide accurate information to clients.

Qualifications:

Valid property and casualty insurance license will be required.

Previous experience in customer service or a related role within the insurance industry is preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in using computer systems and insurance software.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in insurance or customer service is a plus.

This employment opportunity is with a State Farm Agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies and requires the successful completion of licensing requirements to solicit and service State Farm products.
