Production Worker
at our
South Sioux City, NE
facility. Reporting to the Coated Grains Manager, this position will operate processing equipment as per the daily production schedule to meet production orders. The wage for this position is $22.74 per hour. This position will require you to work 2nd or 3rd shift, which have differential rates. The 2nd shift differential rate is $1.00 per hour and the 3rd shift differential rate is $1.25 per hour.
Responsibilities
Packaging and storage of granola based products to meet production orders
Cleaning and sanitizing production equipment
Setting up production equipment
Operating forklift in a safe and efficient manner
Setting up and replenishing various ingredients
General housekeeping of production area and stocking supplies
Pulling samples for micro testing
Observing Good Management Practices and required HACCP procedures
Operating warehouse management hand scanners
Qualifications
Able to work a flexible work schedule and overtime as needed, may include week-end and holiday shifts
Able to read, write and communicate effectively
Able to lift and stack 50 lbs repetitively
Able to bend, squat, walk and/or stand during entire shift
Candidate should possess basic computer and problem solving skills
Forklift experience is an asset, but not required, training will be provided
