Description
To install, maintain/repair and document work required in the upkeep of all equipment belonging to TPi; to be aware of and complete any building and grounds maintenance required; all in a safe and efficient manner.

Primary Responsibilities
Complete mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs on shop equipment, along with troubleshooting.
Troubleshoot everyday mechanical and electrical problems of a routine nature.
Perform/assist/train other with mechanical and electrical repairs as needed or directed.
Perform/assist/train in the installation of equipment or processes.
Perform daily preventative maintenance as required – inspect, lubricate and adjust equipment per schedule(s).
Maintain accurate and timely records.
Minimum toolbox requirements exist in this classification.
Perform work in a safe manner – follow all health & safety rules; keep area neat and clean.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Education Requirements
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of formal training program(s) related to heavy industrial maintenance.
Required Experience & Skills
10 years hydraulics experience
10 years pneumatic experience
10 years electrical up to 480 vac, control voltages of 24 vdc
10 years PLC experience primarily Allen Bradley with programming abilities
Ability to work and communicate well with others
Ability to read and write legibly
Ability to read drawings and schematics
Demonstrated math and organizational skills
Ability to adapt to various working environments
Proper sense of confidentiality of company records and data
Physical Environment Physical Demands This position requires constant standing for 8 – 12-hour shifts, pneumatic and electric powered hand tools and the ability to lift up to maximum of 50 lbs. consistently.
Working Conditions The employee is exposed to an environment where hearing protection, eye safety, safety shoes and other personal protective equipment (PPE) is required. During warm & humid weather, employee is exposed to higher heat risks due to ambient temperature along with generated heat from equipment.
