Job Description Summary of essential job functions.

Responsibilities

Dismantle devices and remove defective parts

Locate and troubleshoot malfunctions

Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements

Adjust functional parts of device and control instruments

Start device to test performance

Lubricate and clean parts

May repair electrical equipment (basic)

May work with other maintenance mechanics and electricians to diagnose malfunctions. Completes all necessary repairs and refers unusual problems to supervisor. Ensures proper operation and troubleshoots as conditions necessitate. Completes paperwork, work orders, P/M sheets, etc.

Minimum Requirements Requires specialized training in mechanical, electrical, and electronics as well as one or more trade skills. In addition, specialized training in the manufacturer of plastic blown film processing and equipment.
