Responsibilities
Roxbury Hospital is recruiting a full-time Maintenance Tech to work in our Shippensburg behavioral healthcare facility. This is a Monday‑Friday position with on‑call overnight and weekend rotation.
The Maintenance Tech assists the Director, Plant Operations/Support Services with daily operations of facility management and repairs/renovations. Responsibilities include:
Install, repair, and maintain drywall, mechanical equipment, HVAC, plumbing systems, sprinkler systems, appliance repair
Electrical equipment, receptacles, smoke detectors, emergency lighting, light bulbs
Weekly/monthly inspections and tours
Extinguisher maintenance, exit lighting, generator testing
Roxbury Treatment Center (a subsidiary of Universal Healthcare Services, Inc.) is a 112‑bed behavioral health facility in Shippensburg, PA, offering acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services with an adolescent inpatient program and two outpatient offices. The mission is to provide high‑quality services in an environment of excellence, respect, and ethical standards.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
Maintenance experience 1 year (Preferred)
Driver’s License required.
