The Company is in search of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its mission of empowering neurodiverse adults and supporting their journey to live meaningful, connected lives. The CEO will be responsible for driving daily operations, setting and executing strategic direction, ensuring financial sustainability, and overseeing organizational management. This role requires a leader with a strong background in nonprofit management, at least 5 years' experience in a senior leadership role, and a deep commitment to the values of self-determination and equity for neurodivergent individuals. The successful candidate will partner with the Board of Directors, lead fundraising activities, and engage with staff, members, and the community to build trusting relationships and understand the evolving needs of constituents.
Key responsibilities for the CEO include developing and reviewing strategic plans, providing daily leadership to the team, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance workplace. The ideal candidate will be action-oriented, with a proven track record in strategic planning, financial management, and staff development. They should be adept at balancing strategic vision with tactical work, and be able to inspire and support a diverse team. Familiarity with disability advocacy is a strong advantage, and the CEO will be expected to represent the organization in public forums, media, and community events, as well as advocate for public policy changes that impact the mission. The role is pivotal in refining and actualizing growth plans, and the CEO will work closely with the Founder and the Board to ensure the organization's continued impact and sustainability.
