About the Role
The Company is in search of a visionary and innovative leader to serve as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic direction, administration, and management of the organization, with a primary focus on mitigating hunger and food insecurity in the community. This role demands a bold, forward-thinking individual who can inspire teams, galvanize partnerships, and drive strategic growth to ensure that every community member has access to the food they need. The CEO will be the public face of the organization, advocating passionately for the mission to end hunger and managing food insecurity. Key responsibilities include leadership of internal operations, external initiatives such as advocacy and fundraising, and fostering a culture of mission-driven leadership and professional growth.
The ideal CEO for the company will have a background in senior leadership, preferably in a nonprofit, food industry, or business administration setting, and will possess strong business acumen, financial and operational management skills, and a proven track record in fundraising and development. They must be adept at building relationships, both internally and externally, and be committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The role requires an authentic storyteller, an effective communicator, and a collaborative leader who can navigate the complexities of the food system and foster a culture of transparency and collaboration. The CEO will also be responsible for strategic planning, and development, and will work closely with the Board of Directors to ensure that the organization's goals and objectives are met.
