About the Role
The Company is in need of an Executive Director LNHA to oversee the overall operations of a skilled nursing facility, ensuring compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing the implementation of policies and procedures, maintaining high standards of resident care, and managing the facility's financial and operational performance. This role involves routine facility rounds, staff recruitment and training, budget preparation, and representing the facility in various external dealings. The Executive Director will also be tasked with maintaining a safe and sanitary environment, meeting the nutritional and social needs of residents, and upholding the Patients' Bill of Rights.
Applicants for the Executive Director LNHA position at the company must hold a current and valid state TX Nursing Home Administrator license and have a thorough knowledge of relevant regulations. A BS/BA degree in healthcare administration or equivalent experience is preferred, along with a minimum of 2 years' experience as an Administrator/Executive Director in a skilled nursing facility. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and delegation skills, as well as the ability to ensure a working environment that promotes respect and dignity. The Executive Director will also be responsible for the facility's disaster preparedness plan, employee evaluations, and enforcing abuse prevention policies.
