About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to play a pivotal role in the organization's transition to a public company. The CFO will be a key member of the executive leadership team, providing strategic financial guidance and leadership during the IPO or SPAC process. This includes overseeing all financial aspects of the transaction, from audits and due diligence to S-1/S-4 filings and financial disclosures. The successful candidate will also be responsible for long-term financial strategy, financial planning, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and SOX. Additionally, the CFO will lead the financial team, manage investor relations, and be a primary spokesperson for the company's financial matters.

The ideal CFO for the company will have a minimum of 15 years' of progressive finance experience, with a background in CPG, product-driven, or consumer-facing businesses. They should have a proven track record as a CFO or senior finance executive in a company that has gone public, preferably via SPAC, and possess a strong knowledge of public company requirements, including SEC compliance, SOX, and capital markets strategy. The role demands a leader with a high EQ, strong presence, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The CFO will be expected to build and mentor a world-class finance team, foster cross-functional collaboration, and ensure the company's financial risk strategy and regulatory alignment are robust.
