About the Role

The Company is in search of an Executive Director with a strong background in trauma-informed care, child abuse response, and Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) collaboration. The successful candidate will be a strategic, growth-oriented professional with a proven track record in financial management, fundraising, and long-term planning. They must be an effective manager of people and culture, capable of setting clear expectations, fostering accountability, and maintaining a compassionate and supportive work environment. The role also requires the Executive Director to be a charismatic, community-facing ambassador, honoring the organization's founding strengths while leading it into an innovative and sustainable future.

Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include financial management and reporting, administrative and operational leadership, board relations, and governance support, as well as external relations, partnerships, and community engagement. The ideal candidate will have experience in program design, implementation, and evaluation, success in supervising teams, and a strong understanding of nonprofit governance. They should be adept at budget development and management, and have the ability to contribute to long-term organizational planning. A background in diversified fundraising and experience with law enforcement, social services, MDTs, and the child protection/justice systems is essential. The role demands a leader with strong communication and marketing skills, who is empathetic, compassionate, and resilient, with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 5-8 years of management experience in a related setting.
