About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead and manage its financial operations. The CFO will be responsible for directing the preparation of financial reports, creating growth forecasts, and overseeing business planning, budgeting, and negotiations. A key requirement is a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration with an accounting concentration, a minimum of 4 years' experience in accounting, and a preference for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license. The successful candidate must have a strong background in generally accepted accounting and auditing principles, as well as experience with Federal Accounting Policies and non-profit organizations.
The role involves developing and implementing internal controls, financial policies, and procedures, and supervising a team to ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial transactions. The CFO will also be involved in training and onboarding new employees, providing regular feedback, and creating a positive work environment. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities are essential, as is the capacity to work with diverse groups and maintain productive relationships. The CFO will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to plan and finance the company's growth, assist in strategic decision-making, and ensure the financial viability of the organization.
