The Company is seeking an Assistant Head of School for Operations and Leadership. The successful candidate will be a highly visible community leader, responsible for overseeing the mission-alignment of student programming, faculty and staff development, and the implementation of strategic planning. This role requires a strong focus on social justice, educational innovation, and women's leadership. The Assistant Head will work closely with the Head of School to ensure that the school's challenging college preparatory curriculum is integrated with real-world educational opportunities and that the diverse student body is supported in their academic and personal growth. Key responsibilities include managing daily operations, assuming chief operational oversight in the Head of School's absence, and serving as an executive spokesperson for the school.
Applicants must have a Master's degree in education or a related field, with 5-7 years' experience in school administration, preferably in a faith-centered, independent school. The role demands a high degree of integrity, ethics, and a passionate commitment to the school's mission. The Assistant Head will be involved in strategic leadership, student experience, fiduciary support, and will be expected to have a strong background in communication, personnel management, and strategic planning. Proficiency in technology and experience with Microsoft Office, Google Classroom, and fundraising/development CRMs is required. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of Catholic education and experience with women's institutions or organizations.
