Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to support a dynamic K-12 school environment in Fort Walton Beach, FL. This full-time, itinerant role involves working across multiple school sites within the Okaloosa County area, primarily serving elementary-age students. The position offers a contract through the current school year, providing an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student health and development. Responsibilities include conducting individualized physical therapy sessions for a caseload of approximately 40 students, collaborating with educators and staff to optimize student participation and success, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines. The role requires strong assessment skills, adaptability across diverse school settings, and effective communication with families and educational teams. Qualifications / Desired Experience: Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy Valid Physical Therapist license through the Florida Department of Health Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings preferred Ability to manage an itinerant caseload across multiple schools Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Location: Fort Walton Beach, FL serving multiple schools in the surrounding district, with onsite responsibilities only.
