An Elementary School in Champaign, IL, is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher with case management experience to support a 5th grade caseload. This full-time contract position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a positive learning environment by providing specialized instruction and managing individualized educational plans. Key Responsibilities: Deliver tailored special education instruction to 5th-grade students, accommodating diverse learning needs. Serve as the case manager for assigned students, coordinating services, monitoring progress, and facilitating communication between families, educators, and support staff. Develop, implement, and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with regulations. Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to ensure inclusive classroom practices. Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings to support student success. Qualifications: Valid Special Education teaching certification. Experience in case management within an educational setting. Strong knowledge of special education laws and IEP development. Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Work Schedule and Location: Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week. Contract duration for the current school year (CSY). Located in an elementary school setting in Champaign, IL.
