Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available in an elementary school setting, focused on managing a 5th-grade caseload. This contract role spans the current school year (CSY) and offers an opportunity to apply specialized skills in special education and case management within a supportive educational environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide special education services to 5th-grade students, adapting instruction to meet individual needs. Manage case files and coordinate services as the designated case manager for assigned students. Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Monitor student progress and update documentation to comply with educational standards. Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success. Desired Qualifications and Experience: Valid certification in Special Education. Experience working with elementary-level students, preferably 5th grade. Strong case management skills, including coordination and documentation of services. Ability to work collaboratively in an educational team setting. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Location: Position based in Mahomet, Illinois. Work Schedule: Full-time commitment, 37.5 hours per week.
