Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity seeks an experienced professional with a strong background in cardiac catheterization lab procedures. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive skills in both Cath Lab and Electrophysiology environments and a minimum of five years of recent experience in these areas. Location:Based in the Chicago area, this position offers the chance to work in a dynamic healthcare setting known for its commitment to patient care and cutting-edge technology. Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab. Prepare and maintain catheterization equipment and supplies. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care. Adhere to safety and infection control protocols. Participate in on-call rotations, providing timely response to emergency procedures with a 30-minute callback requirement. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of recent Cath Lab experience, including Electrophysiology. Current ARRT certification and Illinois state licensure. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Strong knowledge of catheterization procedures and protocols. Ability to provide one professional reference from a Cath Lab supervisor within the past year. Schedule and Contract Details: Contract position for 13 weeks. Four 10-hour day shifts per week (40 hours), with a rotating day off. Rotating on-call schedule including 2-3 days during the week and every third weekend. Call back minimum of 2 hours.
