Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This role focuses on providing specialized imaging support in a catheterization laboratory setting, ideal for professionals with strong Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) experience seeking a contract assignment in Elgin, IL. The position offers a structured 13-week engagement with a consistent schedule and opportunities to apply advanced technical skills in a dynamic clinical environment. Location: Elgin, IL This suburban city provides a comfortable living environment with a mix of cultural attractions, parks, and convenient access to major urban centers. It balances a peaceful community vibe with proximity to metropolitan amenities. Schedule and Hours: 40 hours per week Four 10-hour day shifts with a rotating day off Rotating on-call duties including some weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) Call 2-3 days during weekdays and every third weekend, with a 30-minute callback time and minimum 2-hour callback requirement Holiday coverage as needed Responsibilities: Deliver expert imaging support during catheterization and electrophysiology procedures Operate specialized Cath Lab imaging equipment adhering to safety and quality standards Collaborate closely with the clinical team to ensure successful diagnostic and interventional outcomes Maintain detailed records of procedures and equipment use Respond promptly and effectively to on-call requests, providing essential imaging services Qualifications / Desired Experience: Minimum 5 years of recent experience in Cath Lab, including EP procedures ARRT certification and current Illinois state licensure required Valid BLS and ACLS certifications essential Ability to provide one professional reference from a Cath Lab supervisor within the past year Strong technical proficiency and excellent teamwork skills This contract assignment offers valuable exposure in a leading clinical setting, perfect for skilled professionals committed to high standards in cardiovascular imaging.
