Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available to provide instruction and support to elementary students with mild to moderate disabilities within a resource setting. This contract role offers a unique opportunity to work part-time across two elementary schools, delivering specialized educational services designed to meet individual student needs. Location: Lakeville, MN Start Date: ASAP End Date: June 11, 2026 Schedule: Monday Friday, onsite, part-time split between two schools (half day at each site) Program Type: Resource setting supporting students with mild to moderate disabilities through pull-out services and collaborative inclusion Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct instruction aligned with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals Collaborate closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and other support staff to ensure cohesive learning experiences Develop, manage, and monitor IEPs, including progress tracking and data collection Maintain frequent communication with families and educational teams to support student success Preferred Qualifications: Active Minnesota Special Education teaching license with any qualifying endorsement such as LD, EBD, or ASD Experience working in a resource setting with students needing mild to moderate support Strong organizational, communication, and team collaboration skills This position is offered as a W2 contract with hourly pay ranging from $38 to $45 depending on qualifications and experience.
