Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A dedicated professional is needed to provide specialized instruction as a Special Education Teacher for grades K-12 in a self-contained classroom setting. This role supports a caseload of 6-8 students and requires expertise in addressing diverse learning needs within special education. Qualifications and Experience: Valid Tier 3 or Tier 4 licenses in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Emotional Behavioral Disorder (EBD) Experience working with K-12 students in self-contained classrooms Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and special education laws Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adapt instructional strategies Excellent communication and organizational skills Position Details: Location: Multiple school locations near Plymouth, MN, with primary responsibility at one building Schedule: 37.5 hours per week Start Date: Immediate availability preferred End Date: June 2, 2026 Classification: W2 Contract Responsibilities: Deliver tailored instruction to students with disabilities in a self-contained classroom environment Develop and implement IEPs to meet individual student needs Monitor and report student progress regularly Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support personnel to enhance student success Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere fostering student growth and development Benefits: Competitive hourly pay ranging from $34 to $37 Comprehensive healthcare benefits provided Structured work environment with consistent hours Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives in a dynamic educational setting Qualified educators with the required licenses and a commitment to student success are encouraged to apply for this contract opportunity.
