Located in Aurora, IL, this opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Social Worker specializing in school settings, ready to provide essential support across K-12 classrooms. This position offers a contract role through the current school year, focused on delivering services to students within both the central office and various member district buildings. Key Responsibilities: Provide social work services to students ranging from elementary to high school. Manage caseloads that will be assigned based on the candidates experience and specific needs. Support students and families during FMLA leave coverage, starting as soon as possible through the end of February. Collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized support plans. Maintain appropriate documentation and comply with all relevant policies and regulations. Qualifications: Possession of an active ISBE Professional Educator License (PEL) in School Social Work. Experience working with a diverse student population across elementary and secondary grades. Familiarity with special education services and supporting students with varied emotional and social needs. Strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate between multiple school sites. Location: Aurora, IL, with responsibilities that may extend to nearby member district buildings. Position Details: Contract duration through the current school year. FMLA leave coverage requiring immediate start through the end of February. Part-time option available at approximately 0.6 FTE (3 days per week), which may coincide with the FMLA requirement.
