Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a school social worker position providing FMLA leave coverage from as soon as possible through the end of February. The assignment is contracted through the current school year in a K-12 educational setting located in Naperville, IL. Responsibilities: Support students across elementary to high school age groups, with caseloads tailored to candidate experience and district needs Work both in classrooms at the special education cooperative and in member district buildings Deliver social work services aligned with school and individual student goals Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to support student well-being and academic success Qualifications: Valid Illinois State Board of Education Professional Educator License (PEL) with Social Worker endorsement Experience supporting students in a school setting is preferred Flexibility to serve a range of age groups K-12 Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Strong communication and organizational skills Location: Naperville, Illinois, within a regional special education cooperative and member districts Benefits: Contract assignment with clear start and end dates Opportunity to impact students social and emotional needs during a critical time Collaborative and supportive educational environment Candidates interested in this role should be prepared to provide their full name or Illinois Educator Identification Number (IEIN) to verify licensure, along with certification documentation.
