Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time position is available for a Special Education Teacher at an early childhood school in Surprise, AZ. This role focuses on supporting students in grades K-2 with specialized educational plans and tailored instruction. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students in grades K-2 Deliver specialized instruction in accordance with state and federal special education guidelines Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and support staff to assess and monitor student progress Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student performance and compliance Utilize evidence-based strategies to meet diverse learning needs in a supportive classroom environment Qualifications: Valid Special Education Teacher
certification/license
appropriate for the state Experience working with early childhood and elementary-aged students, preferably K-2 Strong understanding of special education laws, IEP development, and behavioral management techniques Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams Commitment to fostering an inclusive and nurturing learning environment Position Details: Location: Surprise, Arizona Contract Duration: Current School Year (ASAP through End of School Year) Full-time assignment with K-2nd grade caseload This contract opportunity offers a meaningful role in shaping the educational experience of young learners with specialized needs in an early childhood setting.
