Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time special education teaching position is available at a K-12 school located in Laveen, AZ. This contract role offers the opportunity to support and instruct students with diverse learning needs across all grade levels, providing an inclusive and adaptive educational environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique requirements. Employ specialized teaching strategies to support academic, social, and emotional growth. Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families to promote student success. Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting instruction as needed. Maintain accurate documentation and provide reports on student performance. Qualifications and Experience: Certification or licensure in Special Education. Experience teaching K-12 students with special needs.
