Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for a resource classroom role in a K-12 public school located in Englewood, CO. The contract runs from ASAP through May 22, 2026, supporting students with diverse learning needs within a structured educational environment. Key Qualifications and Requirements: Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Education License with Generalist Endorsement (5-21) required Candidate must hold or have applied for the Professional Teacher License with appropriate endorsement; substitute, interim, traveler, or temporary licenses will not be considered unless accompanied by proof of SPED license application Extensive experience with teaching strategies and instructional practices tailored for special education students Strong knowledge of Specially Designed Instruction (SDI) and supporting students working toward alternative standards Demonstrated expertise in the IEP development process and effective collaboration within multidisciplinary IEP teams Ability to provide detailed insight into teaching methodologies and student support approaches during the interview Position is not open to virtual or hybrid arrangements Responsibilities: Deliver targeted instruction within the resource classroom setting to students across K-12 grade levels Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the IEP team Employ instructional strategies that address diverse learning needs and promote student growth Maintain compliance with all federal and state special education regulations and documentation processes Participate actively in team meetings, communicating student progress and adjusting interventions as needed This opportunity offers a rewarding environment to apply specialized skills in special education and make a meaningful difference in student outcomes.
