A K-12 full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the current school year in Metairie, LA. This contract role supports students across elementary schools, particularly on the west bank, within a dynamic school district. The position is on-site, offering a dedicated schedule aligned with the school calendar. Key Responsibilities: Provide speech-language services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade, with a focus on elementary-aged children. Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education programs (IEPs), and deliver targeted interventions. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication needs. Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with district and state requirements. Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities. Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders. Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Louisiana. ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred. Experience working in school settings preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Schedule and Location: Full-time, 35 hours per week (7 hours per day plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch). Monday through Friday, following the school calendar. Position based in Metairie, LA. This role offers a structured environment with a clear focus on serving school-aged populations.
