An exciting opportunity is available for a full-time Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K‑12 students in a dynamic school setting located in Kenner, LA. This contract position spans the current school year through May 22, 2026, providing direct, on‑site therapy primarily focused on elementary schools on the west bank.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver individual and group speech‑language therapy services to students within the school district.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student communication goals.

Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state regulations.

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and continue professional development as required.

Qualifications And Skills

Masters degree in Speech‑Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.

Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.

ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) preferred.

Experience working with school‑aged children, K‑12, especially in elementary settings.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to assess and treat a variety of speech and language disorders in an educational environment.

Location Kenner, Louisiana

Schedule And Commitment

Full‑time, 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, following the school calendar.

Daily schedule includes 7 hours with a 30‑minute unpaid lunch break.
