Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Were seeking motivated Pharmacy Technicians to support a fast-paced inpatient hospital pharmacy in southern New Mexico. This is a great opportunity for technicians looking for a full-time contract role, with flexibility for part-time or PRN availability as well. Newer technicians are welcome to apply, and those with advanced skills will have the opportunity to work at the top of their license. Position Highlights Inpatient hospital pharmacy setting
Flexible employment options: full-time preferred, open to part-time or PRN
Competitive weekly pay

Rural location with travel options available, including non-taxable weekly allowances for lodging, meals, and incidentals when applicable
Schedule Monday Friday: 7:00 AM 8:00 PM
Saturday Sunday: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
Rotating schedule with weekend coverage approximately every third weekend
Key Responsibilities Assist pharmacists with daily inpatient pharmacy operations
Prepare and dispense medications in accordance with hospital policies and state regulations
Support sterile and non-sterile compounding as assigned
Maintain accurate documentation and inventory control
Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure safe and efficient medication delivery
Required Qualifications Active New Mexico Pharmacy Technician license
Ability to work in an inpatient hospital environment
IV certification required for technicians assigned to IV preparation duties
Chemotherapy preparation experience required for technicians assigned to chemo compounding
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
Willingness to work rotating shifts and weekends as scheduled
