Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support elementary students with multiple disabilities. This role requires working onsite with a caseload primarily consisting of Kindergarten students, along with those from varying grade levels. Location: Pickerington, OH Position Type: Full-time, Contract Duration: January 5, 2026 May 22, 2026 Student Caseload: Approximately 8 elementary students with multiple disabilities Key Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction and support tailored to the individual needs of students with disabilities Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the educational team Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as needed Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with parents and staff Foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment Qualifications and Experience: Active Ohio Intervention Specialist license required Prior experience working with elementary students with multiple disabilities strongly preferred Ability to manage a caseload of diverse learners in an onsite setting This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the educational journey of students requiring specialized support.
