A K-12 position is available for a Special Education Teacher in Mesa, AZ, focusing on a self-contained, life skills setting. This full-time contract opportunity spans the current school year (CSY) and requires dedication Monday through Friday for 37.5 hours per week. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs. Deliver specialized instruction tailored to life skills growth and self-contained classroom settings. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress. Monitor and document student performance and behavior. Communicate effectively with families and caregivers regarding student development. Qualifications and Experience: Valid special education teaching certification. Experience working with K-12 students in self-contained or life skills classrooms. Strong classroom management skills. Ability to create engaging, individualized lesson plans. Effective communication and collaboration abilities. Location: Position based in Mesa, AZ. Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday. 37.5 hours per week.
