Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher opportunity is available at a K-12 school in Phoenix, AZ, serving students in a self-contained, life skills setting. This contract position runs through the current school year and is designed for educators passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs. Responsibilities: Deliver individualized instruction and interventions tailored to students in a self-contained, life skills classroom Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) in collaboration with families, therapists, and school staff Monitor student progress and report findings to stakeholders regularly Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student growth and independence Maintain accurate records and adhere to all special education compliance requirements Qualifications: Valid Special Education teaching certification appropriate for K-12 levels Proven experience working in special education settings, preferably with life skills or self-contained classrooms Strong knowledge of instructional strategies and adaptations for diverse learners Excellent communication and collaboration skills Commitment to fostering student success and individualized support Location and Schedule: Position based in Phoenix, Arizona Monday through Friday, full-time (37.5 hours per week) Contract duration: Current School Year (CSY) This role offers a meaningful opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students requiring specialized support.
