Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Special Education teaching opportunity is available for grades 6th-12th, focusing on students with language needs. This role includes the important responsibility of coordinating TELPAS testing within the school environment. The position is a contract role for the current school year and is based in San Antonio, TX. Key Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction tailored to students with language-related learning needs Manage and coordinate TELPAS assessments to ensure compliance and accuracy Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to support student success Maintain detailed records of student progress and testing outcomes Qualifications: Valid teaching certification in Special Education Experience working with K-12 students, ideally grades 6-12 Familiarity with TELPAS testing procedures and requirements Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations This role is available in two locations within San Antonio, TX: Position 1: Monte Vista North Position 2: Forest Heights Upper School Both positions follow a full contract for the current school year.
