Overview Dermatologist Faculty Position - Robert Wood Johnson Medical School Somerset. RWJBarnabas Health and Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS), Department of Dermatology, are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Dermatologist to join our growing team at the Center for Dermatology in Somerset, NJ. This faculty role provides the opportunity to deliver high-quality clinical dermatologic care, teach future physicians, and engage in meaningful research—all within New Jersey's largest integrated health care delivery system.

Position Highlights

Provide dermatologic services at the Center for Dermatology in Somerset, NJ

Serve as a consultant at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH), a 650-bed tertiary care teaching hospital in New Brunswick, NJ

Actively participate in medical student and resident education within the Division of Dermatology

Engage in scholarly and research activities that advance the mission of the Department and School

Join a collaborative, collegial team of faculty physicians dedicated to advancing dermatologic care and education

Responsibilities The Dermatology faculty are responsible for providing clinical dermatologic services at the Somerset location and providing consulting services at RWJUH. The successful candidate will be an active member of the Dermatology team and participate in the educational programs of the Division, including teaching medical students and residents, and engaging in productive research activities.

Requirements

MD, DO, or MBBS degree required

Completion of an accredited Dermatology residency required

Board-certified or board-eligible in Dermatology

Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice medicine in the State of New Jersey

Compensation The minimum salary for this position if hired to work is $340,000 per year. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills, and professional experience.
