Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a Special Education teacher specializing in Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) with a focus on Autism. The position supports a preschool classroom and is located at an elementary facility within the Denver area. Candidates must be available to work onsite; virtual or hybrid options are not available for this role. The assignment runs from January 7, 2026, through May 21, 2026, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Key Qualifications: Active Colorado Teaching License with an Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) endorsement required. Candidates must currently possess or be actively pursuing ECSE licensure; eligibility for licensure will be confirmed before interviews. Experience working with preschool-aged children with Autism is highly preferred. Strong communication and collaboration skills for working within multidisciplinary teams. Commitment to on-site presence; remote work is not permitted. Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction and support tailored to young children diagnosed with Autism. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in alignment with regulatory and district guidelines. Collaborate closely with family members, special education professionals, and administrative staff to ensure student progress. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to early learning and developmental goals. Maintain accurate records and participate in ongoing professional development.
