This contract position begins ASAP and continues through the end of the school year (EOSY). The teacher will be responsible for providing specialized instruction and support for a caseload of 23 students. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each students unique learning needs Provide direct instruction and intervention for students in K-2 special education Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student growth Qualifications: Valid Special Education teaching certification Experience working with early elementary students (K-2) in special education settings Strong skills in developing and implementing IEPs Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 23 students Effective communication and teamwork skills Location: Renton, Washington This contract offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic elementary school environment.
