This full-time Special Education teaching position is available at an elementary school in Everett, WA, serving students in kindergarten through 2nd grade. The role involves providing specialized instruction and support to a caseload of 23 students, ensuring each child's unique learning needs are met within a nurturing classroom environment. The contract begins as soon as possible and runs through the end of the school year. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students specific needs. Deliver targeted instruction and interventions to K-2 students with diverse learning challenges. Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success. Maintain detailed case documentation and compliance with special education regulations. Foster an inclusive and positive learning atmosphere that encourages student growth. Qualifications and Experience: Valid state certification in Special Education. Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably K-2. Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 23 students effectively. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Familiarity with IEP development and special education laws. Location: Everett, WA Elementary school setting.
