What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Draft and edit national and state-level underwriting communications
Track, monitor, and analyze legislative activity related to real estate in all 50 states
Draft policy manuals and rate manuals for regulatory submissions
Provide guidance to local underwriting leadership on form and rate manuals
Perform legal research and compile data from various sources
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Completion of a paralegal program preferred
3–5 years of professional experience as a Paralegal
Outstanding writing and editing skills
Intermediate Excel proficiency required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Paralegal certification preferred
General knowledge of the legislative process
Strong research and summarization skills
Detail-oriented with excellent time management
Exceptional communication, presentation, and organizational skills
