What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Draft and edit national and state-level underwriting communications
Track, monitor, and analyze legislative activity related to real estate across all 50 states
Draft and edit policy and rate manuals for regulatory bodies
Provide guidance to local underwriting leadership regarding form and rate matters
Conduct research on legal issues affecting the conveyance and mortgaging of real estate
What is Required (Qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree preferred
3–5 years of professional experience as a Paralegal
Outstanding writing and editing skills
Intermediate proficiency in Excel
General knowledge of the legislative process
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Completion of a paralegal program preferred
Paralegal certification preferred
Strong research and summarization skills
Detail-oriented with excellent time management
Exceptional communication and organizational skills
