What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Draft and edit national and state-level underwriting communications
Track, monitor, and analyze legislative activity related to real estate in all 50 states
Draft and edit policy and rate manuals for regulatory compliance
Provide guidance to local underwriting leadership on form and rate matters
Conduct research and collect information to support underwriting decisions
What is Required (Qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree preferred
3–5 years of professional experience as a Paralegal
Outstanding writing and editing skills
Intermediate Excel proficiency required
General knowledge of the legislative process
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Completion of a paralegal program preferred
Paralegal certification preferred
Strong research and summarization skills
Detail-oriented with excellent time management abilities
Exceptional communication and organizational skills
